By trade, I’m a software developer, but my heart lives in creating. I write poems, essays, and songs that dive deep into the human experience.
I am a follower of Christ, or at least I try to be.
You can find me singing in my church’s choir, biking with friends, or dreaming of the day I’ll finally have a plot of land to grow my own food.
More than anything else, I long for deep connection. I aim to see and relate to things deeply, whether that is a person, a cramp in my leg, or the bark of a tree.
Check out some of my work:
- A silly video with a hot dog, rock music, and snowboarding
- An essay about fighting oppression by taking time to rest
- A sonnet about uncertainty in love, and a sprinkled donut
- A ukulele song about fall and flannel and adolescent love
- A short story of petty conversations and a quarter
